Garden waste collections to resume

Garden waste collections in Wirral are to resume from Tuesday 10 January.
The service was paused for the winter shutdown but collections will resume as normal from next week.
This year a half price subscription offer is also available to households, covering collections from January to 31 May 2023:
- £25 for the first bin subscription
- £25 for each additional bin subscription
- £41 for a new bin
All subscribers are also offered:
- buy any slice of cake and get a free hot drink (one per subscriber). Offer valid at New Brighton Floral Pavilion Café, West Kirby Sail Loft Coastal Kitchen and Williamson Art Gallery Café. A voucher for this will be included on the new subscription permit letter, including the terms and conditions of the offer.
- a free potted tree or shrub during the next planting season (one per subscriber). We will contact subscribers closer to the time with details of how this offer can be claimed.
Items allowed in your brown bin
- grass mowings
- hedge cuttings
- pruning
- leaves
- weeds
- dead flowers
- Christmas trees; real trees only, and please chop up to ensure it fits in your bin
Please ensure all of your garden waste fits inside your bin. Chop up hedge cuttings and pruning if necessary.
