Wirral welcomes a new exhibition from Ladybird Book Artists

Wirral’s Williamson Art Gallery & Museum will bring back childhood memories as it launches its display of illustrations from Ladybird book titles.
‘The Wonderful World of the Ladybird Book Artists’ will be displayed at the gallery from 29 June until 9 September, allowing visitors to view across the summer.
Featuring colourful artwork, the collection highlights the artists who have illustrated the infamous books for over 30 years and helped Ladybird books reach its success.
Hundreds of books are made available for visitors to browse through and share as well as the original artworks and artefacts.
Having spent more than 20 years researching and collecting items, the exhibition is the creation of curator, expert and enthusiast Helen Day.
