Knife Angel official welcome - in pictures

People will have read all about the Knife Angel monument elsewhere on Wirral View - what it is, what it means and why it is here in Wirral.

We wanted to use this page to share some images from last week's event that marked the Knife Angel's arrival in Wirral and the start of educational work aiming to reduce future knife crime.

It was an insightful and emotional occasion highlighted with a mum's very personal story of the effects of knife crime on her family.

Thanks to all project partners - Merseyside Police, the Police and Crime Commissioner and British Ironworks - for their support.
