Just one week left to have your say on green travel schemes in Birkenhead

Consultations on two new active travel schemes – one on Birkenhead Road and the other on Price Street – will come to the end of their consultation period before Christmas.

The schemes plan to improve pedestrian and cycle access around Birkenhead. They are designed to help people leave the car and choose more healthy options to get around.

With a new and quieter landscape planned for Price Street – including tree planting, new paving, crossings and lighting – and a brand new cycling path proposed in Birkenhead Road, you can have a look at what the areas might look like through artists impression sketches and tell us what you think.

There is still time to have your say on the schemes, but the consultations do close at 5pm on 21 December.
