Young people across Wirral will now have the opportunity to be able to turn up with their friends and play small sided games & tournaments on 3G pitches for free.
Bebington High Sports College - soon to become The Co-op Academy Bebington - is inviting young people boys and girls aged 12 -17 years to take part in weekly, healthy activities - which start on Friday, 3rd May 2019 from 6.00pm - 8.00pm.
Wirral Council’s Sports Development Team will be leading the free sessions. All coaches are FA qualified and DBS checked.
Dave Simmonds, Community Sports Development Officer said: "Regular, free football sessions for young people are an important way to increase involvement in healthy and safe activities and will improve the long-term wellbeing of future generations."
Wirral Council’s Sports Development team promotes and manages schemes to help young people to access physical activities. The project is funded through the Mid Wirral Crime Prevention Panel.
