A new book documenting some of Wirral’s rarest bird sightings is to be launched at on Saturday, September 9.
Written by two of the RSPB Dee Estuary reserve's local birdwatchers, Allan Conlin and Eddie Williams, 'Rare and Scarce Birds of Cheshire and Wirral' will be launched at RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands, CH64 5SF, between 10am and 4pm. No booking required.
Proceeds of book sales on the day will be donated to the RSPB Dee Estuary reserve (cash only)
The date coincides with the first day of the Wirral Wader Festival, with events taking place at Hoylake and West Kirby.
