The event, held on 22 May as part of Dementia Action Week invited residents to an afternoon of live entertainment and activities.
Dementia Action Week runs each year from 20-26 May. Here in Wirral, the Memories Afternoon was just one of many dementia-friendly events that took place across the borough.
Outside of Dementia Action Week, Wirral's libraries deliver an ongoing programme of free events to enable people living in residential care settings, families and care-givers to come together and share experiences.
Dementia-friendly activity afternoons are available every four weeks at West Kirby for people living at home with dementia and their carers. The next of these will take place on 17 June, from 2-4pm.
With the number of people with dementia set to triple by 2050, library staff are trained as Dementia Friends to understand the needs of customers and to reinforce that libraries are a safe and neutral environment for all.
