Make sure your voice is heard on May 3rd

Local elections will be taking place on May 3 and Wirral will see voters going to the polls to choose their local councillors right across the borough.

When May 3 arrives you can vote in person at your polling station between 7am and 10pm - unless you have chosen to vote by post or through a proxy.

Those voting at polling stations will receive a poll card telling you where your local polling station is.

Applications for postal votes in the local elections on May 3, 2018, must have been received by 5:00pm on Wednesday 18 April 2018.

If you have chosen to vote by proxy - appointing someone to vote on your behalf - the proxy vote will only be valid for the current election.

Again you must have submitted an application by 5:00pm April 18 to do this.

Full results of the elections will be posted on the Wirral Council website (www.wirral.gov.uk) as they are declared overnight, after polls close at 10pm.
