Nominations close this Friday (27 September) for the first-ever Liverpool City Region Culture and Creativity Awards - it's time to cast your vote!
The awards have been created alongside the Borough of Culture initiative, to recognise the outstanding role that culture, creativity and innovation contribute to making our region a thriving, creative and beautiful place to live.
Among the categories is the Borough of Culture ‘Star of the Year’ award, which will celebrate an individual from Wirral who has made an outstanding contribution to our Borough of Culture year. There is also a Student Inspiration award for anyone aged under 25 who is making a difference in their community.
As well as giving deserved recognition to more well-known individuals, organisations, partnerships and projects across the city region, the awards hopes to shine the light on lesser known projects too.
The awards event takes place at the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight on Thursday 28 November – as Wirral’s year as Borough of Culture for the Liverpool City Region draws to a close.
