Wirral Council launches new e-newsletter for the 151st Open
Ahead of this summer’s 151st Open at Royal Liverpool in Hoylake, residents are being invited to subscribe to a new email newsletter from Wirral Council.
The ‘151’st Open - information for residents’ newsletter will pull together local updates for Wirral residents who want to know more about the local impact of a global tournament - including volunteering opportunities, temporary changes, traffic and travel arrangements, and benefits to the local economy.
Local businesses looking to benefit from the Open and its thousands of visitors can also download a new business toolkit, providing tips and information to help make the most of the event and give a warm welcome to all those who attend.
The toolkit also includes information about the event and some of the preparations that have been made so far, including transport, parking, and accommodation to help business plan.
