A new residential development will bring the very latest in sustainable housing design and innovation to Wirral Waters.

Redbridge Quay currently includes a mix of the award winning ‘Town House’ and ‘Row House’ modular homes, designed by Liverpool architects Shedkm.

The first 28 of the energy efficient modular homes are now being marketed with two, three and four-bedroom homes available.

The development is holding a public open day Saturday March 18 from 10am to 4pm.

The sales centre will then be open and staffed six days a week from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, with Saturdays by appointment.

The development, named Redbridge Quay due to its proximity to the famous red bridge in the northeast corner of Birkenhead Docks, is located in the emerging Northbank neighbourhood at Wirral Waters.

The waterside development is surrounded by beautiful Grade II listed grain warehouses, a new pocket park, green landscaping and new public realm, including dockside walkways.

This development and the wider Wirral Waters project is also part of the broad programme of regeneration activities in and around Birkenhead that sits within the council’s 2040 Framework. It ties in with the wider regeneration ambitions for the Left Bank of Wirral which stretches along the Mersey from Bromborough to New Brighton via Birkenhead, Wirral Waters, Seacombe and Liscard.

Richard Mawdsley, Peel L&P’s director of development for Wirral Waters, said: “Redbridge Quay is a very exciting residential development for Wirral. The show home looks fantastic and will give people a real insight into modern housing design and innovation and what future living will look like. I believe this development will have a huge appeal to families, couples and individuals looking for a sustainable, energy efficient home that is fit for the future.

“Redbridge Quay forms part of our Northbank residential quarter at Wirral Waters and will sit alongside 500 waterside apartments at Miller’s Quay and in close proximity to Four Bridges, a mix of educational, retail, leisure and commercial office developments all along the water’s edge, so it’s a wonderful place to set up home.”

Redbridge Quay is located on Dock Rd, Seacombe, CH41 1DS. In addition to the new show home there is a fully equipped sales centre and customer parking.
