The council are urging residents to clean up after their dogs after a surge in reports of dog fouling since lockdown began.
With services stretched to the limit as the impact of COVID-19 continues to affect everyday life, it’s never been more important for us all to work together and reduce the strain on resources.
If you are taking your dog out for a walk, make sure you have dog poo bags with you. If you can’t find a bin, or the bin is full, please carry the bag home with you and put it in your green bin.
Please do not hang it in a tree, or a bush, or on a gate. The hard work has already been done once it’s been bagged, and hanging it in a tree is not only leaving dog mess around, but plastic waste too.
To report a full litter bin, please visit the council website.
