Reviewing the places where you can vote in Wirral
If you vote in Wirral, you can now share your thoughts on the places the council uses for polling.
Wirral Council, like all local authorities, has to review all polling districts and polling places every five years, by law.
The review asks how convenient the location of polling place is and whether it’s accessible, for example, to someone who is blind or uses a wheelchair. You can also make suggestions for alternative places to vote through the review questionnaire.
Comments will be used to make any recommendations for changes which will be considered at by the council’s Regulatory and General Purposes committee.
You can find more information about how to check your ward and polling place and take part in the survey at the council’s HaveYourSay website: haveyoursay.wirral.gov.uk/
* The review applies to locations for local and national elections, but does not look at the boundaries for council wards or parliamentary constituencies.
