Funding has been made available for community safety projects running between now and April next year.
Jane Kennedy, Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside, announced a total of £135,000, and is inviting charities, community groups and social enterprises to submit bids between £5,000 and £25,000. The fund aims to stop problems before they occur by deterring people from crime and anti-social behaviour. For more information see the PCC website or call the PCC office on 0151 777 5155. Jane Kennedy is also asking those who have been affected by crime in the last three years to share their experiences to help shape the support services that the Police provide in the future. She is asking people to take part in a short online survey to find out how existing referral processes and support services are working, and what could be improved in the future. If you would prefer to share your views by taking part in an interview or attending a focus group, please contact Sarah Barnett, Independent Research Consultant, on 07855 180015 or by email at email@example.com.
