CHAIN RUNNER

Don't Break the Chain!

After the success of 2016, Chain Runner is back for a bigger and better event in March.

Working dads from Wirral, Stephen Henderson & Stephen Carroll started going to obstacle course races (OCR) a few years ago on a quest to get fit. As some of the group weren’t as fit as the others and for a bit of fun, they came up with the idea of being chained to each other and dragged along the course.

The idea grew into an event of its own and in 2016, with the help and support of Park Ranger Jo Hanik, Chain Runner was born!

The first event in Wirral Country Park saw over 500 runners, not only from Wirral, but as far as London and Ireland, take on mud, sand and crazy obstacles for a fun and unique running experience.

This year the organisers have teamed up with local charity, Claire House and are urging all runners to raise money for this amazing charity by being sponsored to complete the course!

Chain Runner 2017 will take place on 25th March at Wirral Country Park. Find out more and book your place, visit www.chain-runner.co.uk For your unique Active Wirral 25% discount, enter code: AW25 when signing up.
